2024 has a lot in store for the 4Runner. We think, much like its pickup sibling the Tacoma, the 4Runner will be all-new for the first time in over a decade.

Expectations are that the new 2024 4Runner will make its official debut in 2023, and it will likely be built on the TNGA-F truck platform, the same structure that’s used in the redesigned 2022 Tundra and 2023 Sequoia. The engine will likely be the same as the one found in the new Tacoma, which could deliver 437hp & 583 lb-ft of torque & offer greater efficiency.

The interior will be all-new, too. One look at the Sequoia’s interior will tell you everything you need to know about the upcoming 4Runner. Expect a new layout, new materials, larger touch screens, possibly a digital instrument cluster similar to the Sequoia, and more technology.
